RWFit.com Workout: Tuesday 5/29/12

Who says you can't have a good workout at the hotel fitness center? Sure, it can be a challenge that they don't have every thing you need - for example, I had access to a treadmill and a set of dumbbells - but you need to try to be as creative as possible and work through it.

As I've said before, when you're planning your trips, if at all possible, try to find and stay at a hotel that has at least a reasonable fitness center with some amount of equipment. You'll be glad you did. 

Here's how it worked out for me:

Round 1:

  • Run 1 Mile - 8:00 @ 0° incline
  • Hammer Curls - 8
  • Tricep Extensions - 10
  • Russian Twists with Dumbbell - 25
  • Narrow Pushups - 25

Round 2:

  • Run 1 Mile - 8:30 @ 3° incline
  • Concentration Curls - 10
  • Face Crushers - 10
  • Hollow Rocks - 12
  • Chest Flies - 10

Round 3:

  • Tabata Run - 7:00 mile @ 12° incline
  • Forearm Curls - 12
  • Side Tri Rise - 20
  • Plank - 1:00
  • Dive Bomber Pushups - 15

Result:

Hey, I was working out at 10pm ET after traveling, so I was happy to get those 3 rounds in! It felt good to exercise after sitting on a plane and then driving for 2 hours. How did I look when I got done?
