RWFit.com Workout: Saturday 6/9/12

Today was a late night workout. Sometimes you need to take advantage of the time you have on those busy weekend days. For my workout tonight, I chose to do a pyramid workout, where I select a set of exercises and do reps that start low and go up and then back down. 

Here's what it looked like:

Rounds 1-5:

The numbers after each exercise indicate the number of reps/time/distance I did for each set.

  • Row - 200m, 300m, 400m, 300m, 200m
  • Ring Assisted Pullup - 10, 15, 20, 15, 10
  • Russian Twist - 20, 25, 30, 25, 20
  • Heavy Dead Lift - 5, 7, 9, 7, 5
  • Regular Plank - 0:30, 0:45, 0:60, 0:45, 0:30
  • Back Extension - 10, 15, 20, 15, 10

Result:

I was glad that I did this, even though it was late. Weekends are sometimes difficult to find time between family events, yard work, etc., so it felt good to get this in.
